Rainy and wet but quite warm. First a loop looking for #6 too soon, and then along the wrong hill towards #7..
Firmaliiga 2021/4 Haukkalampi
Start of the Firmaliiga fall season at Haukkalampi. Maybe +20 C and quite humid.
Lots of running along tracks/paths and then up/down a steep stony hill to fetch the control. Confused about the many paths inside the 1-2-3 triangle, then looked to early and too high for #6. Otherwise okish.

Drifted onto the wrong hill at #8, otherwise mostly ok. Not the nicest terrain to run in... +15C and sunshine.

+11C and rain. Quite slippery. Maybe too safe via #4 to #2. Small loops into #6 and #8, but mostly OK orienteering.

Short E-course in sunny and warm weather. A small loop into #5, and then drifted too much east into #7.

OK running until #5, after which I probably should have taken the easy road towards #6 and not tried to finesse it through the woods. Then ran past #8 up on the wrong hill and had to back-track.

Quite OK orienteering and reasonable speed/rythm until #5 where I was in 10th place, but then lack of fitness led to sloppy execution of the long #5-#6 leg and +10 minutes lost to the best runner and 6 places lost...
Warm and sunny, very dry in the forest.

long time no orienteering... short E-course in good, not too warm, weather.
#5 was the only problem, first searched too soon for it, then ran past it, and only found it coming back from the bigger trail. 5+ minute error..

warm, over +20C. My Garmin watch didn't get a GPS-fix at the start and it took until #3 for it to start recording.
No major mistakes but not so great running/fitness.
