Fairly easy course in Palhoneinä.

1:15000 map with hand-drawn controls, and old-school punching on paper (no EMIT). A bit of rain and +11 C or so.

Major problems finding #3 and then also out of #3 towards the road...

A loop around #3, where the yellow 'channel' wasn't very clear or easy to recognize.
Then punched at the wrong control on #7 🙁
Next stop is firmaliiga on Tuesday.

Stepped off the path towards #1 too soon and circled around the wrong hill, probably costing +2 minutes or so.
#5 is also a bad split - the plan was to use the paths and not go down to the lake - but bad execution resulted in a visit to the lake and slow climbing back up to the control.
#9 is not stellar, perhaps due to lack of fitness, or slowing down and reading the map too often on the long(ish) open leg.
19./88 overall is OK - would have been better without these three mistakes 😉

Maybe unnecessary wiggles on #1-#2 and #4-#5, then no good plan for how to find #7 so back-tracking from the path/ditch instead. About 45-degrees wrong direction out of #9 at the end.

Short E-course. Maybe a bit nervous on #1 - then mostly OK until #7 where the direction out of the control towards #8 went 90-degrees wrong due to some unmarked trail.

Not too warm around +5-6 C - with a bit of snow/sleet in the afternoon - welcome to Finland in May 😉
#3-#4 leg looks like a big detour - otherwise mostly no big problems - but a fairly easy pace today...
